"Eva" is an up and coming female that is full of athleticism and talent.  She tracks back to some of our programs best including Ringo and Elka (see our Program>Females page).   She combines this proven power with a long line of top NAVDHA perfomers on her Dams side including Deutsch Duallys Devil Wears Prada NA 112 I, UT 204 I and her Grand Dam Deutsch Duallys Allwheel Drive NA 112 I, UT 204 I, who was bred by Mark Krueger out of New Mexico and was a bit of a legend in her time.  Evas' pedigree is loaded with some of the breeds best talents and we are very excited to see what this litter has to offer.    Eva is a beautifully constructed female who is quick on her feet and holds point with a ton of style.  She is medium ranging female that can stretch her search when needed.    She has a very nice medium dense medium harsch coat and full furnishings which makes her a dream to take care of.  She has an ultra biddable, cooperative demeanor that has made training her a treat.
Dont let her sweet dispostion fool you however as she is an excellent wild bird dog that hits the field with reckless abandon and has excelled in the testing arena as well including a perfect 112 prize 1 on her Natural Ability test through NAVDHA.    She is a determined bird finder that will hunt hard for her handler all day and then come home and live in the house with good manners.

Cecil is owned by Ben Oakleaf of Nampa, Idaho. Ben grew up helping his dad, Ron Oakleaf, train many talented wirehairs in NAVHDA. Cecil has not disappointed. From as early as 4-5 months old Cecil was finding and handling wild chukars and huns. He was just one of those natural bird dogs that does it all, right out of the box. Every experienced dog handler that has spent time with Cecil comments on the dog's outstanding nose. He also possesses incredible desire, on land and water.

Ben tested Cecil in the VHDF Advanced Hunting Aptitude test at 21 months were he scored a very strong 171 points with maximum 10s in Field Search, Steadiness, Nose, Blind Water Entry, Desire, and Search Behind the Duck. Cecil is a very talented male that is strong in all areas, with an exceptional nose and natural bird finding and handling abilities.
